Cone-Beam CT Scan
In some situations, a regular x-ray (2D technology) isn’t sufficient for capturing the level of picture detail your dentist requires, and a higher-level precision piece of equipment is needed. Health Plus Dental Centre is committed to providing innovative, high quality patient care, which is why we are proud to offer Cone Beam CT technology. A cone-beam CT provides highly accurate, 3D radiographic images for the diagnosis, planning and treatment of endodontic disease. It allows three-dimensional visualization of the teeth, bone, sinuses and surrounding structures, with minimal radiation to the patient. This allows a level of accuracy and patient care not possible with 2D technologies (regular X-rays). With the addition of cone-beam CT technology to our office, our practice strives to provide modern, quality patient care.
