Dr. Jessie Zhang was born and raised just outside of Shanghai in mainland China. At the age of 19, she moved to Canada to study at the University of Calgary. There she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular, Molecular and Microbial Biology with distinction in 2010. She then went on to obtain her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree at McGill University in 2015. Since then Dr. Zhang had been a practicing general dentist back in Calgary.
Dr. Jessie Zhang is a strong believer in oral health, total health, and the importance in home care education. She is motivated to work with patients and help them achieve their personal dental goals. Dr. Zhang offers treatments including fillings, crowns & bridges, root canal treatment, extractions and Botox/Dysport injections. Dr. Zhang especially enjoys cosmetic dental work whether it is fixing chipped front teeth or a complete smile make over. She takes pride in her attention to detail and patience when addressing individual patients needs.
Outside of work, Dr. Zhang is an avid Latin dancer. She spends much of her free time dancing on stage and on the social dance floor. She also developed a new passion in gardening since the pandemic.
